Contributor License Agreement

1. Definitions
- "You" (or "Contributor") means the individual or legal entity submitting a Contribution.
- "KALAI" means the KALAI entity operating at kalai-tech.com, the maintainer of CorvusTunnel.
- "Contribution" means any original work of authorship — including code, documentation, tests, or other materials — that you intentionally submit to the CorvusTunnel project via pull request, issue, email, or other means.
- "Project" means the CorvusTunnel software and all associated repositories maintained by KALAI.
2. Grant of Copyright License
You hereby grant to KALAI a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute your Contributions and any derivative works thereof.
You retain ownership. This is a license grant, not a copyright assignment. You keep all rights to your contributions and can use them in any way you wish, including in other projects.
3. Grant of Patent License
You hereby grant to KALAI a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer your Contributions, where such license applies only to patent claims licensable by you that are necessarily infringed by your Contribution(s) alone or by combination of your Contribution(s) with the Project to which such Contribution(s) were submitted.
If any entity institutes patent litigation against you or KALAI (including a cross-claim or counterclaim in a lawsuit) alleging that your Contribution constitutes patent infringement, then any patent licenses granted to that entity under this CLA for that Contribution shall terminate as of the date such litigation is filed.
4. Representations & Warranties
By submitting a Contribution, you represent and warrant that:
- Original work: The Contribution is your original creation, or you have sufficient rights to grant the licenses above.
- Authority: If your employer has rights to intellectual property you create, you have received permission to make the Contribution on behalf of your employer, or your employer has waived such rights.
- No conflicting obligations: You are not aware of any claims, liens, or encumbrances on the Contribution that would conflict with the licenses granted here.
- Legal capacity: You are legally entitled to grant the licenses above. If you are under 18, your legal guardian must agree to this CLA on your behalf.
5. MIT License
You agree that all Contributions will be licensed under the MIT License, the same license used by the CorvusTunnel project. The full text of the MIT License is available in the project's LICENSE file.
This means your contributions will always be free and open source. KALAI cannot relicense the project under a proprietary license without also maintaining the MIT-licensed version.
6. No Obligation of Support
You are not expected to provide support for your Contributions. Unless required by applicable law or agreed to in writing, your Contributions are provided on an "AS IS" basis, without warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied.
7. How to Sign This CLA
You accept this CLA by submitting a pull request to the CorvusTunnel repository. Your first pull request constitutes acceptance. We may also ask you to explicitly confirm by commenting on your PR.

8. Miscellaneous
- This CLA is governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
- If any provision of this CLA is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- This CLA constitutes the entire agreement between you and KALAI regarding Contributions, superseding any prior agreements.
- KALAI may update this CLA. Updates apply only to Contributions submitted after the update date.
